Here is the page to their contact info. I just dropped them a line to tell them why i wont be making any of my usual trips to Florida in the foreseeable future etc. Money seems to be what affects change.
I guess I'm gonna have to meet my folks somewhere less Turquoise.

Remember, Remember the 5th of Novemeber.

Happy Guy Fawkes day to my fellow Brits. It's my favourite (note the U) day in the UK. I miss the jacket spuds on the fire, bundling up round the bonfire, Penny for the Guy and burning of effigies.
Goodtimes.
For those that don't know what the F I'm talking about see the link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes_Night
yes, it's a bizarre custom in which we celebrate the capture and torture of a religious rebel, but in a weird way, we kind of grant him his wish each November 5th.

list of passing propositions
Looks like the Mormon's will get Prop 8 to pass in CA, sad when you see how many African Americans voted for it.
Same thing in Arizona.
Plus, the Douche bags in Arkansas place a Ban on gay couples adopting!
Well screw them, nobody gives a flying fuck about arkansas anyway...didn't even notice they were still here to tell you the truth.
This is so sad...The blatant Hypocrisy from so many people...and from MORMONS? What the fuck, go love your 10 14 yr old wives and tell me I'm a sinner?
Change? Equality? Well I call Bullshit, you better start meaning what you're saying-- which means you must fight for equality for all people, otherwise there is no such thing.
I say we Strike!
No more work from the GLBT community for others!
No more civil rights work for you, friend.
Serve your own fucking airline refreshments. Want to see anything " ON ICE"-- fuck you you're S.O.L.
No more make overs, no more choreography, no more making your life more interesting an d fun.
You want to act like that, we can act like that. I've said it before, I'll say it again YOU WILL REGRET pissing of Gays..especially the ones in drag flinging high heels.

Howdy
Ok, so I know I've been a bit crap lately about posting anything other than silly photos and clips. I've been slammed at work and been out of town a lot for various reasons, but enough excuses. I just wanted to say that I am SO excited about casting my very first vote as an American, or ever! It's only a few days away, can you believe it?
Are you as excited as me?
Are you as excited as me?

Shit or get off the pot.
Oh, that David Sedaris has put it so precisely when it comes to Undecided voters.
“Can I interest you in the chicken?” she asks. “Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it?”

This Crazy-assed McCain supporter faked being attacked.
I do not condone violence, but if one were to say...
give this woman a beat down and scratch a backwards B on her face
Nobody would notice.

Where's your denouncemnet McCranky?
My friend Jenny (holler!) send me this UNBELIEVABLE clip of some sad-ass-knuckle-dragging "Christians" (I use that term sarcastically) who are keeping us all in the 19th century-- people really are that stupid apparently. This is embarrassing...is there some way to fence in, say Ohio, and keep them all in one place/let them dumb n' ugly themselves to death somehow? I'm just sayin'.

more crony baloney
Top Gop Fund-raiser may be in deep doo doo.
hmmm this seems od to me, a friend of the G.O.P receiving a contract at the highest --or in the case of Halliburton the ONLY Bid?
Thanks war profiteers, you're proud patriots no doubt!
...bunch of frickin' used enema nozzles.

Hi,
sorry i've been M.I.A, had a crazy couple of days, and have been out of touch. Missed the debate last night as I was booking a ticket to Atlanta for this weekend.
What happened? Thoughts and Impressions please? Did Dr. Crankenstein return?

Back from the 'burgh.
We got back late last night after a fun trip to Pittsburgh. After an epic journey there (fender bender and lots of goodtime traffic), we settled in for a nice relaxing weekend. It was lovely to have some quiet and a cute dog to play with.
The best part was going to a thrift store and buying a ton of stuff and only spending $25.
The stuff we got would easily be double the price in NYC.
Where am I going with this....dont' know.
I never said I would have a "point" or a "reason", I tend to not "make sense" or "follow a linear thought pattern". I don't " write well" and I'm not "easy to follow if you have any kind of short-term memory loss". I tend to "ramble" and "bore the shit out of".

LA, 1986.
Last night my friend, the lovely Jacque (holler!), got us some tickets to see Rock of Ages.
Four of us went and we had a great time. The show is hardly the best thing you ever saw, actually I think they almost prided themselves on the terrible storyline, but it was great fun and I laughed my drunken butt off a few times (thanks Blue Moon beer!), plus we sang our hearts out to some Journey and Poison. Some American Idol douche was in it, Constantine--

and let me tell you ladies, he did have a great voice for the Rock and Roll.
After a great night we said our goodbyes, we cabbed it home and I went to the Bodega for more beer, which is ALWAYS a very, very good idea.
In true fashion I was awakened at 4am to find myself fully clothed, lights on-- half-seated half-laying on the couch, with Roo standing over me wondering why I hadn't come to bed?
Why hadn't I ? because a party doesn't get itself started Roo, somebody has to keep this shizz hot all up in here.
I don't know, I'm tired.
On the plus side I didn't threaten a group of hipsters with violence, or "take a nap" on the bathroom floor--- so lessons learned there I think.

Connecticut Supreme Court allows same sex marriage!
This just in.
more here.
Writing for the majority in the 4-3 decision, Justice Richard Palmer found:
We conclude that, in light of the history of pernicious discrimination faced by gay men and lesbians, and because the institution of marriage carries with it a status and significance that the newly created classification of civil unions does not embody, the segregation of heterosexual and homosexual couples into separate institutions constitutes a cognizable harm.more here.

Foos figthing the "Maverick"

Many of you know Heart sent and AMAZING cease and desist letter to the McCain campaign over it's use of Barracuda, well seems like The Foo fighters , amongst others, have joined in for the use of their song Hero.
Good on them, I say! Must be so frustrating to write a song and then have some old bugger try and misconstrue your lyrics to suit his spin..."My Hero", more like my ..um, something that rhymes and is funny/not to offensive. Sorry, I don't have anything...Zero? That seems harsh. Weirdo is reaching a bit?

The O.M (original Maverick)

Seem's as if I'm not the only one that shudders when Palin squawks her "Mayvrrrack" or McNasty colors himself a rogue.
Meet the real Mavericks.
Top o' the mountain to ya!

What the Christing-cupcakes! People are blowing the tops of of mountains to get coal? Doesn't this seem a little ignorant and, oh I don't know, destructive to everything we rely on/ live on/ have around us and exactly the type of thing that will KILL US ALL . These are probably the same fuck-dick morons who are so into "Values". Also the effort involved? Good god, build some windmills Einsteins. Why are these people so fucking stupid? Wait, why is this even legal? Why are we so fucking stupid?
Also, a quick note, I--unlike many-- believe swearing makes my point seem smarter and I'm bound to be taken more seriously. I plan on swearing a lot, so poop off if you are not into cussin' . There is a quiet sophistication to my parlance, no?
Here's a additional CNN piece on it.

Kristen Wiig = Pant-lessness
I know it's not particularly interesting to link to SNL clips, but I love Kristen Wiig-- maybe too much (picture me, pant-less, standing in a bush outside a certain TV stars window-- actually picture me with my pants on as it's chilly out. I also wouldn't know why I wouldn't have pants on in the first place, I'm not like that...I mean, no one has ever accused me of being a pant-less wonder, or PERV- ilicious. It seems more like a thing men do as a pant-less woman tends to invite perversion upon herself).
Here is Ms.Wiig in tiny-handed glory in Saturday's Lawrence Welk Show sketch.

Some of my fav alternative titles are:

Douglas fur and Cherry Pie.

I've been on a Twin Peaks bender lately. I Netflixed (is that a verb?) the entire two seasons and prequel-- Fire Walk with me, and have been really enjoying every second of it. On top of this, I've for sometime now been enjoying David Lynch's audio book Catching the big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness and Creativity.
It has helped me see Twin Peaks in a whole new light. When I originally viewed it as a 13 year old I thought it was some pretty weird stuff, it was both scary and silly. Now it seems to me to be a deeply spiritual soap opera, that forces me to crave coffee, bake pies and wonder if the Log Lady is Lynch, or at least the vessel for his voice.
I wish there was something like this on now. Giants are an under represented minority on TV these days.

I've never been to Israel, but I've been to me.

This morning I'm siting at my kitchen table wondering how many millions of people watched last night's debate. As someone who is fairly political, it's been truly exciting for me to watch so many get so into this election. Of course it's maddening sometimes, when you make the mistake of reading some of the AMAZING comments on CNN or the NYTimes site. Now I know that I shouldn't, but I guess I just don't really want to believe that people carry such strange views around in their tiny minds. I wish I could laugh it off when a lady in Ohio states-- as fact-- that Hilary Clinton is a principal member of a secret Lesbian Society and wishes to Impose this life style upon the nation. That would be sweet, but it's unfortunately not true (it's only mandate in S.F for single women over 35). I wish I could chuckle when some smug bastard in Illinois quotes the Bible informing me why he's so superior and why I am disgusting. Unfortunately again, having read the bible so many, many times in Catholic School, I've read that whole kooky Leviticus chapter and I also know that patrons of Red LobsterTM are just as abominable. Read the fine print sir.
I guess it feels worst when those who seem to merely tolerate anyone different than themselves, like it's drug dependency or some sort of disability, pipe in. This makes me truly sad, because then it's clear that they really do believe I am somehow lesser.
I know that there are people out there who believe I am doomed and imagine me leering at their daughters as I fix their cars, or they toss and turn at night with nightmares of my Gay brethren pouring their skinny sons into shiny Lycra tights and forcing showbiz personalities out of them. "Sing Mary, Sing! ...at last he is beautiful".
Sadly my life and the majority of gays I know are just as dull as the rest of Americans, well no-- not really, but we have the same wants and desires. For me, I wish to one day get married.
Where am I going with this? I don't really know as I'm a bit hungover. All I know is that last night hearing Joe Biden say that marriage should only be between a man and a women, I felt heartbroken. I am disappointed that Biden and Obama abide by the same, separate but not quite equal, philosophy as the repug-licans. Apparently they are all gay for Israel, but not so hot for the millions of gay Americans out there. What's so f'ing great about Israel all of a sudden? Allies you say? You wanna talk allies? I live here, I pay taxes here, I get pooped on every 4 years and I still love this place. I think you need to value your citizens as well as your allies.
I suppose that I do not have a nukular weapon. Would that help? Maybe, as GLBT people or friends of, we should club together and build one--yes, with a rainbow on it. Maybe then we can receive marriage rights? Or, what if we all told Obama that we wont stand for separate and not equal politics. I still like the first idea, let's have LAMBDA look into it.
Unfortunately visitation rights, tax and insurance rights don't cover it-- remember the black/civil rights movement. You have to be termed equal to be deemed that. Also remember that gay people marched and organized and worked so passionately for change in the civil rights movement, remember who still works so hard for civil rights for everyone. Allies indeed.
You want my vote? Earn it. Look me in the eye and treat me equal or I'll vote Green. No to Proposition 8.
p.s- Gwen is awesome.
